DNS Service

DNS, or Domain Name Service, is the technology that points your computer in the right place whenever you send an e-mail or visit a website. Chances are, when you’re surfing the Web, you type , and not the numeric IP (or Internet Protocol) address. So what happens is when you type (or whatever plain-English name you enter), a computer somewhere translates that entry into the proper IP address and routes you to the right place. Sound simple? You may want to think again.

DNS Hosting

More and more, companies rely upon their websites to drive their businesses. If you remember back to the early days of the Internet, companies had websites, but they weren’t necessarily very interesting functional. You had to do research to see if companies even had a website. Even worse, there was no guarantee that the site would even have what you were looking for.

Round Robin DNS

You may remember when the Federal Government began to implement a National Do-Not Call list a few years ago. There were several ways you could opt into this, including by telephone and via the Internet. But if you recall, the government’s servers couldn’t handle the volume of people visiting the site, and the website was largely unavailable.
